$4.7T in Payments Untracked, Musk Team Finds

Musk team finds trillions untracked; GOP demands answers.

This is unbelievable. Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency discovered $4.7 trillion in untraceable Treasury payments earlier this year. Yes, trillion with a T. Treasury Account Symbol codes, which identify where money is going, were apparently optional for one-third of all government payments. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent admitted that of the 1.5 billion payments sent out yearly, more than 500,000 had no tracking number. GOP senators are furious. Senator Roger Marshall from Kansas said he wasn't surprised, calling it a common theme in government spending. Missouri's Eric Schmitt demanded investigations, saying there's so much waste, fraud, and abuse in our government. In response, Senators Marshall and Rick Scott introduced the LEDGER Act to force transparency in all Treasury payments. This comes as America's debt reaches $37 trillion, with interest payments alone totaling $952 billion this year – more than our entire defense budget. As Senator Dan Sullivan warned, That's when great powers start to decline. The question remains where did $4.7 trillion of your tax dollars actually go
