Jason Biggs fought cocaine addiction, hitting rock bottom before finding sobriety in New York
This actor climbed into a trash can at 4 AM just to get high. Jason Biggs, the star of American Pie, recently shared his shocking addiction story. At the height of his fame, being 22 with money in the bank and cocaine in his pocket, no one dared to say no to him. His darkest moment came one night when he was using cocaine alone while his wife Jenny slept. Trying to quit, he threw the drugs in the trash.
But within 15 minutes, as his high wore off, he dug through the garbage to retrieve it. He even went outside and tossed it in the street bin, only to later climb inside to get it back. "What the f*** am I doing? This is absolutely insane," he recalled thinking. Living in Los Angeles made sobriety nearly impossible for him. It wasn't until moving to New York that his life transformed. Now sober since 2017, Jason proudly celebrated his recovery on Instagram, encouraging others struggling with addiction: "Don't be ashamed. We can do this."
